Mexican Air Force G120TP Crash

A Grob G120TP training aircraft of the Mexican Air Force crashed near Ameca in Jalisco, killing the two crew members on board. The G120TP is the Mexican Air Force primary trainer, acquired to replace older piston types and used at the military aviation school for ab-initio and basic flying training. Mexico suffered a second fatal military aviation accident later in the year when a Navy King Air crashed into Galveston Bay.
