Portuguese Air Force C-390 Delivered

Embraer delivered the third KC-390 Millennium to the Portuguese Air Force in July 2025, announcing the handover together with the start of the flight-test campaign of the A-29N Super Tucano, the NATO-standard variant for which Portugal is launch customer with twelve on order. The Portuguese Air Force has six KC-390s on firm order, with options for ten more, and operates the type with Esquadra 506 at Beja in transport, air-to-air refuelling, medical evacuation and search and rescue roles. The aircraft carries a 26-tonne payload and cruises at 470 knots.
