Description
On January 28, 2026, Russia lost a Su-34 Fullback fighter-bomber, an aircraft frequently used for launching guided aerial bomb attacks across Ukraine. The loss was first reported by Russian military bloggers and Telegram channels, before being confirmed by Ukraine's General Staff. Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation stated the aircraft was reportedly downed over the Black Sea near the Odesa region.
