Description
An Islamic Republic of Iran Army Bell 214 helicopter was destroyed during an Israeli aerial attack on Sanandaj Airport in western Iran. The strike targeted military assets at the airfield as part of the broader coalition campaign against Iranian military infrastructure. No personnel casualties were reported. The Bell 214, originally manufactured by Bell Helicopter and assembled under license in Iran, has been a mainstay of Iranian military rotorcraft operations since the 1970s.
