Description
An Israeli IAI Eitan was shot down at Andimeshk in Khuzestan province, western Iran, on 3 March 2026. The Eitan, also known as the Heron TP, is Israel's largest unmanned aircraft and its principal long-endurance platform, making each loss materially significant to a fleet numbering only a few dozen airframes. Andimeshk lies on the western approach corridor from Iraqi airspace toward central Iran.
