Description
Two Mi-8/17 military transport helicopters were destroyed at Mehrabad International Airport during overnight Israeli airstrikes on April 5-6. The IDF released video footage confirming the destruction of both helicopters. The strikes were part of a broader operation targeting Iranian military aviation assets at three Tehran-area airports. Mehrabad has been struck multiple times since the start of Operation Roaring Lion and serves as a hub for IRGC Quds Force logistics operations.
