Description
A Russian Air Force Mi-28 attack helicopter was struck by Ukrainian long-range drones at a forward field landing strip near Babky, Voronezh Oblast, approximately 150 km from the front line. Drone operators from the 429th Achilles Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment, the 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade, and the SBU Alpha Special Operations Centre delivered precise strikes to the engine compartment while the helicopter was grounded for refueling and inter-flight checks. Four Russian helicopters were on site at the time of the operation. The damage assessment from satellite imagery is still pending; Russian authorities have not commented on the strike.
