Royal Air Force H145 Delivered

Two Airbus H145 Jupiter HC Mk2 helicopters were delivered to 84 Squadron at RAF Akrotiri on 17 June 2026, taking over the search and rescue, firefighting and support tasks flown by the Puma HC2 until its retirement, the UK's Defence Equipment and Support agency said. The six-aircraft contract, placed in 2024, covers Cyprus and Brunei, where two Jupiters entered service with 667 Squadron Army Air Corps in April; three aircraft had been handed over in the UK in 2025. DE&S said four of the six had been delivered by 22 June, with the remaining two due by the end of July.
