German Air Force H145M Delivered

The first two H145M LKH SOF light combat helicopters landed at Laupheim on 24 June 2026 and were handed to Helicopter Wing 64, Bundeswehr-Journal reported. The armed variant, whose German designation stands for light combat helicopter for special operations forces, adds fire support, close air support, escort and reconnaissance to the unarmed H145M LUH SOF already flown by the wing. According to Janes, the pair are the first of ten LKH SOF for the Luftwaffe under the H145M contract placed in December 2023, since raised to 82 helicopters, most of which go to the German Army.
