Description
On 17 June 2026, Airbus Helicopters handed over the first of 19 H135 light twin helicopters ordered for Canada's Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program, at its completion centre in Fort Erie, Ontario. Designated CT-153 Juno in Royal Canadian Air Force service, the type will serve as the RCAF's primary rotary-wing trainer, replacing the CH-139 Jet Ranger in that role. The FAcT program, led by the SkyAlyne consortium, consolidates pilot and aircrew training under a single long-term contract, with the remaining Juno helicopters scheduled for delivery through 2028.
