Russian Air Force Su-57 Delivered

United Aircraft Corporation said that on 24 September 2026 it handed over a second 2026 batch of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces at the airfield of the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant, after factory testing and acceptance flights by Ministry of Defence pilots. Militarnyi reported that the batch comprised two aircraft; Defence Security Asia noted that UAC did not state the number. According to UAC, the jets are in an updated configuration with revised onboard systems and an expanded weapons complex. Militarnyi linked the timing of the batch, the first since February, to an April 2026 fire that it reported destroyed a composite-parts workshop at the plant.
