Uzbekistan Air Force C-390 Delivered

Embraer handed over the first C-390 Millennium for the Uzbekistan Air Force on 25 September 2026 at its Gavião Peixoto plant in Brazil, making Uzbekistan the first operator of the type in Central Asia. The aircraft, ordered under a contract signed in late 2024, is a multi-mission transport configured for cargo and troop transport, airdrops, medical evacuation, search and rescue and firefighting, and can be fitted with a quick-installation air-to-air refuelling kit. The Uzbekistan Air Force commander said the aircraft's performance and versatility would allow it to carry out a broad range of missions. The ferry flight to Uzbekistan had not been reported at the time of the handover.
