Description
The Fateh-313 is an Iranian solid-fuel, short-range ballistic missile first unveiled in 2015. It is an evolution of the preceding Fateh-110 system, featuring a new composite body and an advanced fuel formulation.
As a tactical short-range ballistic missile, the Fateh-313 is powered by a single-stage solid-fuel rocket motor. Its operational effectiveness is enhanced by a dual guidance system, which combines inertial navigation for the mid-course phase with electro-optical terminal guidance for better precision during the final approach to the target.
The Fateh-313 has been integrated into the arsenals of Iran and Syria. In addition to its state operators, an anti-ship variant known as 'Asef' has been deployed and utilized by Houthi forces. The missile system has seen confirmed combat use, notably during Operation Martyr Soleimani.
