Qatar Navy Musherib Delivered

Fincantieri delivered the offshore patrol vessel Musherib, first of two Musherib-class ships for the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces, on 31 January 2022 at its Muggiano yard in La Spezia, according to the company press release carried by Naval News. The ship is the lead unit of a Qatari naval programme worth nearly 4 billion euros that also includes four corvettes and an amphibious dock ship. The delivery ceremony was attended by Qatar's ambassador to Italy and senior Qatari and Italian naval officers. The sister ship Sheraouh had been launched in June 2021.
