Saudi Arabia Navy HMS Al Jubail Delivered

Navantia delivered the corvette HMS Al Jubail (828) to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces on 31 March 2022 at the La Carraca naval base in San Fernando, Cádiz, in a ceremony attended by the Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the chairman of Navantia, Naval News and Navantia reported. She was the first of five Avante 2200 corvettes ordered in 2018 under the Al-Sarawat project, handed over about 38 months after steel was cut in January 2019. The 104-metre ships accommodate 102 crew and passengers.
