Description
Fincantieri delivered the corvette Damsah (F102), second of four Al Zubarah-class ships for Qatar, on 28 April 2022 at its Muggiano yard in La Spezia, according to the company press release carried by Naval News. The ceremony was held in a restricted format for pandemic reasons and attended by the deputy chief of the Qatar Navy, the Qatari defence attache in Rome and Italian naval officers. The class is about 107 metres long and 14.7 metres wide and was designed to RINAMIL rules.
