Turkey Navy TCG Anadolu Commissioned

The Turkish Navy commissioned the amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu (L-400) on 10 April 2023 at a ceremony at the Sedef Shipyard in Istanbul, according to Naval News. Naval News said the delivery had been announced on 21 January 2023 but the ceremony was held in April because of ongoing tests and officials' schedules. Defense News described her as the Turkish Navy's largest-ever ship and Turkey's first landing platform dock, from which the military plans to operate heavy helicopters, drones and light-attack aircraft.
