Philippines Navy BRP Albert Majini Delivered

The eighth Acero-class fast attack interdiction craft, then identified only by its bow number PG-909 and later named BRP Albert Majini, arrived at Pier 15 of Manila South Harbor on 17 September 2024 together with sister craft PG-908, the Philippine News Agency reported. The craft were built by Israel Shipyards under the Philippine Navy's nine-boat programme; the report noted that four boats of the class carry Spike NLOS missiles and the others a 30 mm gun mount and heavy machine guns. The fifth and sixth craft, Herminigildo Yurong and Laurence Narag, had been commissioned in May 2024, according to the same report.
