Description
The inshore patrol vessel Umag (OOB-32) was commissioned into the Croatian Navy at Split on 17 January 2025, the second of the Omiš class after the lead ship entered service in 2024. The 43-metre vessels were built domestically by Brodosplit under a programme to renew Croatia's coastal patrol capability, and displace roughly 200 tonnes. They are armed with a 30 mm remote weapon station and are tasked with territorial sea patrol, search and rescue and protection of Croatia's Adriatic exclusive economic zone.
