Pakistan Navy PNS Yamama Commissioned

PNS Yamama was commissioned into the Pakistan Navy at Jinnah Naval Base in Ormara in April 2025, the fourth and final Yarmook-class offshore patrol vessel built by Damen. Handed over at Constanta, Romania, in December 2024, the 98-metre OPV 2600 design displaces about 2,600 tonnes and combines stealth shaping with a modern command and control suite, anti-ship and surface-to-air missiles and a helicopter deck. The class allows the Pakistan Navy to release frontline frigates from constabulary duties in its exclusive economic zone.
