Indonesia Navy KRI Bung Hatta Commissioned

KRI Bung Hatta (370) was commissioned into the Indonesian Navy in April 2025, the second unit of the Bung Karno class after the presidential yacht-corvette KRI Bung Karno (369). Launched in February 2025, the ship was built domestically by PT Karimun Anugrah Sejati. The 73-metre design displaces roughly 1,000 tonnes and combines a light corvette armament with accommodation suitable for state and diplomatic duties. Named after Indonesia's first vice-president, she supports patrol, presence and ceremonial tasks across the archipelago.
