Description
Commissioned into the PLA Navy in February 2026 and assigned to the South Sea Fleet, expanding its underway replenishment capacity. Dongjiang Lake was launched in December 2024 at China Shipbuilding Marine & Defense Equipment Co., Ltd. As a Type 903A (Fuchi II-class) fleet replenishment oiler, she displaces approximately 23,000 tonnes and can transfer fuel, fresh water, and dry stores at sea to sustain extended carrier strike group and surface action group operations.
