Description
Commissioned alongside sister ship Dongjiang Lake in February 2026, both assigned to the South Sea Fleet. Ulungur Lake was launched in January 2025 at Wuhu Xinlian Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and is the ninth Type 903A (Fuchi II-class) replenishment oiler overall. The commissioning of these two vessels represents the first pair from a renewed production run of at least five Type 903A hulls, reflecting the PLA Navy's growing requirement for underway replenishment as its carrier fleet expands.
