Description
Commissioned on 27 February 2026 at Chennai by the Chief of the Naval Staff. INS Anjadip is the third of eight Arnala-class anti-submarine warfare shallow water craft built indigenously by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata. Displacing 900 tonnes and measuring 77.6 metres, she is powered by a water-jet propulsion system enabling speeds up to 25 knots. Placed under the Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Naval Area, Anjadip strengthens India's coastal ASW capability.
