Description
Damaged on 25 April 2026 during a large-scale Ukrainian SBU "Alpha" special operations drone strike against the Russian Black Sea Fleet's main base at Sevastopol. Sevastopol occupation governor confirmed the attack, which involved at least 71 drones and also struck the landing ship Nikolai Filchenkov, the reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs, the Lukomka BSF training center, and air defense radar facilities. Yamal, a Ropucha-class (Project 775) tank landing ship with pennant 156 commissioned in 1988, has been a recurring Ukrainian target. The class can carry up to ten main battle tanks or 230 troops.
