Entered service with the Turkish Naval Forces on 13 May 2026 as the lead unit of the New Type Landing Craft Tank (YLCT) programme, having been launched in February 2025 and delivered in December 2025 after roughly 18 months of construction. Anadolu Shipyard is building all eight vessels of the class at its Istanbul facilities to an indigenous design. Displacing about 1,156 tonnes on a hull 79.9 metres long and 11.7 metres in the beam, each craft can lift three main battle tanks or 260 fully equipped troops, or 420 tonnes of cargo. The second unit, Ç-160, was launched in March 2025.
