Description
The Tuo Chiang-class corvette ROCS Liu Chiang (PGG-628) was delivered to the Republic of China Navy on 5 May 2026, the Liberty Times and Taiwan News reported, the second ship of the second production batch after Tan Chiang in March. Built by Lungteh Shipbuilding in Yilan, the stealthy catamaran corvettes carry Hsiung Feng II and III anti-ship missiles and are replacing the Ching Chiang-class patrol ships one for one. The twelfth and final ship of the class, PGG-632, left the yard later that month for sea trials.
