Description
The Ching Chiang-class patrol ship ROCS Chu Chiang (PGG-617) was scheduled to be decommissioned on 1 June 2026, the Liberty Times reported on 29 May; the same newspaper confirmed in July that she had left service during the first half of the year. Her retirement is part of the Republic of China Navy's one-for-one replacement of the twelve Ching Chiang-class ships, built in Taiwan, by the new Tuo Chiang-class catamaran corvettes.
