Description
The Ching Chiang-class patrol ship ROCS Chang Chiang (PGG-615) was decommissioned on 10 July 2026, the Liberty Times reported, leaving Jin Chiang (PGG-610) as the only one of the twelve ships of the class still in service. The Republic of China Navy has accelerated the retirement of the class as the new Tuo Chiang-class catamaran corvettes are delivered, replacing the older patrol ships one for one.
