Description
The Tuo Chiang-class corvette ROCS Lan Chiang (PGG-630), named after the Lanyang River in Yilan, was delivered to the Republic of China Navy at Su'ao harbour on 16 September 2026, the Liberty Times reported. She was built by Lungteh Shipbuilding, whose Yilan yard has produced the whole class. The stealthy catamaran corvettes carry Hsiung Feng II and III anti-ship missiles and are replacing the Ching Chiang-class patrol ships; the twelfth and final ship, PGG-632, was on sea trials for delivery before the end of 2026.
