French Air and Space Force Grob G-120 Crash

A French Air and Space Force Grob 120 trainer was destroyed on 16 December 2022 at Les Églises-d'Argenteuil in Charente-Maritime, according to the Air Force's BEA-E safety investigation report published in December 2023. The report said the aircraft had left Cognac air base on an instruction flight and that, during a spin exercise, the crew could not recover the aircraft. The instructor ordered evacuation and the canopy was jettisoned. Both pilots parachuted to the ground with light injuries while the aircraft crashed and was totally destroyed.
