French Air and Space Force A400M Damaged

A French Air and Space Force A400M parked at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam was struck by an unoccupied Royal Canadian Air Force CC-150 Polaris that rolled backward across the apron. Canada's flight-safety investigation found that no chocks had been installed on the Canadian aircraft, which began to move once its parking brake passed the designed twelve-hour holding period. No one was injured. The A400M sustained serious damage and remained at the base while recovery was arranged. The A400M is the French air force's principal tactical airlifter and is used routinely on long Indo-Pacific transits.
