Hungarian Air Force H225M Delivered

Airbus delivered the first two H225M multirole helicopters to the Hungarian Air Force in a ceremony at Szolnok Air Base, opening a sixteen-aircraft programme signed under Hungary's Zrinyi defence-modernisation plan. The pair were configured for tactical transport and special-operations support and were handed over by the manufacturer's helicopter division at the base that concentrates Hungarian rotary-wing aviation. The H225M is the heaviest helicopter in Hungarian service and complements the lighter H145M fleet delivered from 2019, giving the air force a long-range assault and combat search-and-rescue capability it had previously lacked.
