Description
A South Sudan Air Force An-26 ran off the airstrip at Yida after landing and caught fire. Aviation-safety reporting said the crew escaped before flames consumed the aircraft. Images showed the fuselage and wing structure destroyed. The transport had been operating a domestic military flight, and immediate reporting did not establish the cause of the runway excursion.
