Mauritanian Air Force SF-260 Crash

A Mauritanian Air Force SF-260 assigned to the military aviation school at Atar suffered a technical fault during a routine training flight at about 07:30 and crashed. An army statement carried by Radio Mauritanie said both people aboard, an instructor and a trainee pilot, were killed. The official announcement identified the aircraft type and training role but did not provide a more precise crash location or technical explanation.
