Israel Air and Space Force F-35I Ordered

Israel’s Ministry of Defense signed a Letter of Offer and Acceptance with the United States for 25 additional F-35 aircraft, including support and maintenance. The aircraft will form a third Israeli squadron and increase the planned fleet to 75. Deliveries were scheduled to begin in 2028 at three to five aircraft annually. The transaction was valued at approximately $3 billion and funded through US Foreign Military Financing.
