Royal Saudi Air Force A330 MRTT Ordered

Airbus announced on 10 July 2024 that Saudi Arabia had ordered four additional A330 MRTT multi-role tanker transports, the third contract the kingdom has signed for the type. The aircraft will be equipped for air-to-air refuelling and transport, with conversion starting in early 2026 and entry into service planned for 2027; the contract also covers logistics support, spare parts, training and maintenance. Airbus said the order makes the Royal Saudi Air Force one of the largest MRTT operators in the world. The service already operates six A330 MRTTs.
