French Air and Space Force Rafale B/C Crash

Two Rafales from the Saint-Dizier transition squadron collided during an instructional combat manoeuvre. Both aircraft crashed near Colombey-les-Belles, with the two-seat aircraft’s wreckage located at Harmonville. France’s Armed Forces Ministry said the pilot of the first aircraft ejected and survived with minor injuries, while the instructor and trainee aboard the two-seat Rafale were killed. Safety and judicial investigations were opened.
