Guatemalan Air Force Bell 407 Crash

A Guatemalan Air Force Bell 407GX crashed into the Chixoy River near Playa Grande, Ixcan, while supporting public-security operations in Quiche department. Guatemalan authorities said search teams located the helicopter and recovered the two crew members, both of whom were killed. The aircraft had departed from the Central Air Command at La Aurora. The cause remained under investigation.
