Polish Air Force MQ-9B SkyGuardian Ordered

Poland signed a $310 million contract with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems on 12 December 2024 for three MQ-9B SkyGuardian drones, two ground control stations and three years of support, according to Breaking Defense. Deliveries were scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, with the company saying one of the first aircraft for Poland was already almost complete. Poland has operated leased MQ-9A Reapers since February 2023 under a $70.6 million agreement. The purchase places Poland among the MQ-9B operators alongside the United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Japan, Taiwan and India.
