Description
The Royal Moroccan Air Force received its first six AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters at the 7th Air Base in Khouribga. Morocco ordered 24 Apaches in June 2020 under a contract worth around 440 million US dollars, with an option for a further 12. The AH-64E gives Morocco a modern precision strike and armed reconnaissance capability with Longbow radar and the ability to control uncrewed aircraft, a significant capability edge in North Africa. A second batch of six followed in 2026.
