Croatian Air Force Rafale Delivered

The twelfth and final Rafale for the Croatian Air Force arrived at the Colonel Marko Živković Barracks at Pleso, Zagreb, on 25 April 2025, exactly one year after the ceremonial arrival of the first six aircraft. The delivery completed a squadron of twelve former French Air and Space Force Rafale multirole fighters bought in 2021 to replace Croatia's MiG-21s. The Croatian defence ministry described the programme, part of a modernisation investment of about 3 billion euros, as the most extensive in the history of the Croatian Air Force and said it strengthens NATO deterrence in the region.
