Italian Air Force G650ER Delivered

The Italian Air Force took delivery of its first two Gulfstream G650ER ultra-long-range jets, operated for government and VIP transport by the 31st Wing at Rome Ciampino. The G650ER extends the reach of the Italian government transport fleet, which already included the G550, allowing non-stop flights to destinations previously requiring a technical stop. The aircraft can carry up to 18 passengers over some 7,500 nautical miles at a cruise speed of Mach 0.85 to 0.90.
