Israel Air and Space Force Hermes 900 Shot down

The Israel Defense Forces said on 23 June 2025 that an Air Force unmanned aircraft had been downed in Iran during operational activity, adding that there was no fear of information leaking. Iranian media reported the aircraft as a Hermes brought down in the Khorramabad area of Lorestan province in western Iran, according to The Times of Israel; the IDF did not specify the variant. It was the second Israeli drone confirmed lost over Iran in the twelve-day conflict, after a Hermes 900 was shot down near Isfahan on 18 June.
