Russian Air Force Tu-22M Damaged

During Operation Spiderweb on 1 June 2025, SBU first-person-view drones launched from a truck parked near Belaya air base in Irkutsk Oblast struck the Long-Range Aviation bombers parked there. In addition to the four Tu-22M3 bombers that satellite imagery analysed by The War Zone showed destroyed, Oryx documented two further Tu-22M3 airframes with visible damage in post-strike imagery. Whether the two damaged bombers were repairable was not established.
