Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force F-14 Destroyed

The Israeli Air Force struck the 8th Tactical Fighter Base near Isfahan in central Iran, destroying three F-14A Tomcat fighters on the ground. The IDF released infrared targeting footage confirming the destruction of the aircraft. Isfahan's 8th TFB is the sole operational base for Iran's remaining F-14 fleet, hosting the 81st, 82nd, and 83rd Tactical Fighter Squadrons. The strike further degraded Iran's already limited fleet of Tomcats, which has suffered from decades of sanctions and parts shortages since the 1979 revolution.
