Indonesian Air Force Rafale Delivered

The first three Dassault Rafale F4 fighters for the Indonesian Air Force touched down at Roesmin Nurjadin Air Base in Pekanbaru, Sumatra, after a ferry flight from France. All three are twin-seat aircraft, carrying tail numbers T-0301, T-0302 and T-0303, and had been formally handed over at Dassault Aviation facility in Merignac near Bordeaux in late 2025. They form the opening increment of 42 Rafale F4 ordered under a February 2022 agreement structured in tranches of 6, 18 and 18 aircraft, valued at roughly 8.1 billion US dollars. The type will anchor Indonesian air combat modernisation alongside upgraded F-16 fleets.
