Republic of Singapore Air Force G550 MSA Ordered

Singapore will acquire three Gulfstream G550 Maritime Surveillance Aircraft for the Republic of Singapore Air Force, the Defence Minister told Parliament during the Committee of Supply debate on 27 February 2026, according to Breaking Defense. The aircraft will carry maritime surveillance radar, electro-optical and infrared sensors, an automatic identification system and a self-protection suite, according to the Ministry of Defence fact sheet, and will complement the four P-8A Poseidons Singapore plans to buy. Together the two types will replace the nine Fokker 50s in service since 1993.
