Italian Air Force Eurofighter Damaged

During an Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack on Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait on the night of March 5–6, 2026, two Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoons deployed under Operation Prima Parthica sustained minor shrapnel damage. Italian defence sources confirmed no structural destruction, describing the effects as limited, with both aircraft temporarily grounded for inspection and repair. The same strike also destroyed an Italian MQ-9A Reaper drone on the ground. The attack was part of Iran's sustained campaign against coalition bases across the Gulf region during Operation Epic Fury. At least two Kuwaiti Air Force Eurofighters were reportedly destroyed in the same strike.
