Israel Air and Space Force Hermes 900 Shot down

An Israeli Elbit Hermes 900 was shot down at Khorramabad in Lorestan province on 1 March 2026, with imagery of the wreckage circulated on social media. Lorestan lies on the western approach routes used by Israeli aircraft transiting toward central Iran and accounted for a disproportionate share of Israeli unmanned losses in the first days of the war, including Heron and Hermes airframes downed within days of each other.
